As many of you know, I have been working with children and adults who have ADHD since I was diagnosed with the condition myself back in 1981.  Learning about ADHD and bringing what I learn to the general public has been one of my life’s major missions.  Teachers have always been one of my favorite audiences because teachers saved me from what could have been a disastrous outcome when I was growing up.  I know firsthand that teachers wield enormous power to change lives dramatically for the better.  View this video of the teacher of the year receiving her honor at the White House, I admire and salute Rebecca Mieliwocki for her accomplishments and support of her students!
